Tell us a little about the project.

We call you first to talk it through. No one shows up unannounced.

In Central Florida homes since 1987

Our installers have been fitting windows into Central Florida homes since 1987. That long run in this climate shapes how we work: we expect sun-baked frames, settled sills and openings that aren't perfectly square, and we plan for them before anything is ordered.

It also shapes what we install. We work with Florida-rated impact, storm and tempered glass in aluminum or vinyl frames, finished in white, beige, bronze or black, and we specify frame and subframe aluminum heavier than the minimum. Sliding glass doors get the same care as windows, including replacing tired stacking sliders with full-height glass.

Windows are the whole job here

Ocala FL Windows focuses on residential windows and sliding glass doors. We replace worn and failing units, install new ones in existing openings, and help homeowners choose between standard, energy-focused and impact-rated products. Every conversation stays on the openings in your walls and what it will take to make them work properly again.

Most of the people who call us are not window experts and should not have to be. They know a slider sticks, a bedroom gets too hot by four in the afternoon, or there is fog trapped between two panes that will not wipe off. Our job is to turn those symptoms into a clear scope: which windows need attention, what should replace them, how they will be installed and roughly what it will cost.

What the first visit looks like

Everything starts with a phone call. We talk through what is bothering you and agree a time that suits you; nobody turns up unannounced. At the house we measure each opening, check that frames are square, press on sills and look for staining, cracked stucco returns or soft trim that point to old leaks. We note which windows open onto walkways or pool areas, which rooms need an operable window for escape, and whether any homeowners' association rules apply to colour or grid patterns.

If you only want to deal with two or three windows this year, say so. Plenty of homeowners replace the worst openings first and finish the rest later, and the estimate can be laid out that way.

Things we won't do

  • Quote a firm price from a window count over the phone. Sizes and conditions change the number too much.
  • Tell you impact windows are required when your address and project do not call for them.
  • Promise a dollar figure off your electric bill. Savings depend on too many things we do not control.
  • Set a new window over a rotted sill or frame and seal over the problem.
  • Push you to sign on the day of the visit.

Your home while we work

Replacing windows means working inside lived-in rooms, so we treat the house the way we would want ours treated. Furniture near the openings is moved with your say-so, and floors and sills are protected before any frame comes out.

If something unexpected turns up behind a frame, such as soft wood, a cracked sill or water damage nobody could see from the outside, the work on that opening stops and you hear about it before anything changes. You decide how it is handled, and the change is written down.

When the last window is in

The job is not finished when the final unit is set. We walk the house with you and open, close and lock every window, check that sliders run freely and that screens fit, and look over the sealant and trim on each opening inside and out. Anything that needs adjusting is noted before we leave.

You are also given what you need to own the windows: the product details for each unit, the manufacturer's warranty paperwork and simple care notes covering tracks, weep holes and seals. If a question comes up months later, the same number on this website still reaches us.

Before you call

It helps to have a rough count of the windows you are thinking about, a note of which ones cause the most trouble and what you would most like to improve: heat, noise, storm protection, ease of use or simply appearance. Photos are welcome but not required. If you are still comparing options, the Ocala window cost guide and the pages on impact windows and energy-efficient windows cover the main decisions in more detail.
